French Immersion Program Discussion, Los Angeles, CA

With the support of the Cultural Services at the French Consulate, Valerie will be leading discussions with district administrators from LAUSD, Glendale, Pasadena, Inglewood, San Francisco, San Diego, Cave Creek (Arizona), teachers, and parents regarding the growth of French dual-immersion programs. Questions, concerns, and areas of assistances shared by stakeholders will be addressed openly with each other and through reading of current immersion research. Grade level teachers will have the opportunity to delve into NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements as it correlates with Common Core Language Arts standards for each grade.
